Mount St. Dominic Academy invites you to take part in an exciting opportunity to honor your family or friend, classmate or teacher, in a visible and meaningful way by dedicating a seat in the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center.
The “Take a Seat” campaign lets you dedicate a seat for yourself or honor a loved one, with an engraved plaque to be placed on the arm of a PAC theater seat as a lasting tribute for years to come.

The Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center at Mount St. Dominic Academy has welcomed audiences for 10 seasons with a variety of events throughout the year, ranging from musical productions to cultural events, plays to holiday concerts. By participating in the Take a Seat campaign, you will not only be supporting the Mount and helping us reach our fundraising goal for the Taste of Broadway event, you will also be supporting a space where our students will continue to share their talents, worship together, be inspired by distinguished guest speakers and assemblies, and gather as a community.
The cost to dedicate a seat in the PAC is $500. With just over 200 seats available, we will honor all dedication requests on a first-come, first-serve basis. So be clever, or sincere, poetic or sentimental. You can dedicate a seat as an individual, couple or family:
- For child, grandchild or parent
- Memorialize a class year, classmate or loved one
- Pay tribute to a beloved teacher or coach
- Commemorate a special date, birthday or anniversary
*Please note that future event seating is not guaranteed in chairs bearing specific names, and all Take a Seat donations are 100% tax-deductible.
