Students with the following symptoms should stay home from school:
- At least two of the following symptoms: fever, chills, rigors (shivers), myalgia (muscle aches), headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, congestion or runny nose.
- At least one of the following symptoms: new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, new olfactory disorder, or new taste disorder.
At this time, we do not require students or staff to wear masks; however, we respect the choice to wear a mask as a precautionary measure, and we welcome anyone who chooses to do so.
If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID, the individual must isolate for 5 days. On day 6, if symptoms have gotten better or have completely resolved, the individual can return to school as long as he/she can properly wear a mask around others through day 10 of infection.
If a student or staff member is a close contact, the individual must take a COVID test on day 5 after exposure. If symptoms develop sooner than day 5, the student/staff member must stay home from school and take a COVID test.
