World Kindness Week

World Kindness Week

Every day this week, MSDA students recognized World Kindness Week. Established in 1998 to promote good will to others, the movement has spread globally and creates a chain reaction of compassion by performing random acts of kindness for total strangers. Doing small acts of kindness is one of the best ways to make the world a better place. Students wrote anonymous notes of kindness to those who may need them. sticking them on lockers, desks, or books; expressed gratitude to teachers, coaches, counselors, or parents; thanked military members with a note or small token of gratitude and lastly, dressed in all sunshine yellow, providing warmth and happiness to our body of students, faculty, and staff. Inspired by Mother Teresa who once said, “Do small things with great love,” this week-long initiative encouraged the Mount community to spread kindness and love.
