Remote Learning Week Two

Remote Learning Week Two

Monday

Good morning Mount and Happy Monday! We are ready to begin week two of remote learning! Dr. Muoio extends continued prayers for members of our MSDA community and happy birthday wishes. Let’s get after it, Mount! View video here.

View some fun -- we just had to share this meme that Mr. Rasmussen created!

Tuesday

Good morning MSDA! Feeling cooped up during our at home social distancing, Dr. Muoio follows her Dad’s suggestion and joins him for a bike ride. Although her childhood bike proves a bit challenging (and she has a newfound appreciation for spinners!), they head to check in with retired MSDA faculty member Mrs. Tori Minish and her Husband, Jim. He and Frank Muoio attended @SetonHallPrep and proudly give a shout out to The Prep community, wishing everyone good health and blessings. Get outside sometime today on this beautiful day! Let’s get after it, Mount! View video here.

Wednesday

Good morning Mount -- it’s midway through week two! On this Feast of the Annunciation, the Mount will pause at noon and pray to the Our Father with the pope and our global catholic community. Dr. Muoio shared Mr. Vigil’s hello and reached out with some tips for filling free time at home. Although our Dean of Academics is very proud of all our student and faculty work, there’s one “little student” who is proving to be challenging! Check out the video to see our school nurse’s daughter keeping busy! Let’s get our learning in, our fitness in, and get after it, Mount! View video here.

Thursday

This morning’s announcements and check in with Dr. Muoio found fellow morning walker Sister Peggy Ann. She shared her message to “be positive, be peaceful, and be the change today.” Be sure to stay tuned for news of tomorrow’s Crochet Creations Semifinal Competition. So #LetsGetAferItMount ! Friday

It’s #Mount #FitnessFriday! Dr. Muoio reports our great progress on the academic front at the completion of Remote Learning Week Two and has breaking news in our athletics competitions. Ms. Zosche defeated her sister in a virtual 5K, Mr. Rodridriquez is advancing to the semifinals in the Xbox games, and the adults were defeated by the kids in the Giampapa family volleyball games. You’ll have to check out the speedy creating by both Ms. Jankowski and Mrs. Nguyen in the Crochet Competition and see for yourself who’s in the lead! Next week is Spirit Week -- get your gear ready for themes #MountMonday, 1980s, Christmas, and PJs, and get your pets ready to bring them to school next Friday. Happy birthday to our many March babies this weekend, including Sister Fran Sullivan! View video here.
