Reindeer Run from Coast to Coast - MSDA Class of ’75 Participates Virtually

From vineyard views to seaside vistas, Mount alumnae and classmates, Pamela Personette ’75 and Donna Urban Donaleski ’75 participated in the virtual component 5K Reindeer Run/Walk! With starting lines nearly 3,000 miles apart, Pam walked alongside a vineyard in Sonoma, California, and Donna near the shoreline in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Walking in support of the students of the Mount, both Donna and Pam are avid 5K participants and have been regular runners/walkers throughout their lives. Pam, who has run and walked races in San Francisco and Sonoma recalls her years living in Manhattan when the reservoir in Central Park served as her go to route. Donna, who has run a half marathon, now enjoys walking, biking and a hybrid she calls “yolates” in hopes of being a bit kinder to her knees. Virtual or in-person, runner or walker, participation in the MSDA 5K Reindeer Run/Walk directly supports the students of the Mount.
