Register your student for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) Prep for Success Course at MSDA on the following Saturdays:
The course provides a review of mathematics, reading, language arts skills, instruction in quantitative and verbal reasoning, and general test-taking strategies. The course will be taught by members of the Mount faculty who have extensive experience in preparing students for standardized tests in mathematics, reading, and language arts.
The HSPT exam is offered in November each year to 8th-grade students as a high school admission exam for participating schools in the Archdiocese of Newark. Mount St. Dominic Academy is a test site for the HSPT exam on November 5, 2021. You can click here to see more information about the exam and registration.
Each $100 session runs from 9:00 am to 11:35 am and will consist of:
- 75 minutes Language Arts
- 10 minute break
- 75 minutes Math
Students may attend any or all of the sessions. Participation in all sessions is $400. Note that students attending only one session will NOT gain a review of ALL the math and verbal material on the exam, and only by attending ALL sessions will the full material be reviewed.
Contact Cathy Bolger in our Admissions Office with any questions at email@example.com or 973-226-0660, Ext. 1122/1114.
