MSDA Welcomes New Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

The Mount shares the exciting news that Maria Giorgio, veteran Catholic school educator and mother of two Mount graduates, has joined our team as the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.

Maria joins the Mount after having been a member of the Trinity Academy faculty for more than 20 years. In her role as a 7th and 8th grade teacher, Maria developed expertise in all facets of the high school application process. From working directly with individual students and their parents on applications and school selections, to streamlining the procedures used by Trinity Academy for visiting high schools, data collection and transcript processing, Maria brings a host of critical skills and valuable perspectives to our Admissions team.

In addition to her success in the classroom and unique knowledge of the high school application process from the point of view of the student, Maria also maintains a deep faith in Catholic education. Her commitment to helping young people find their purpose and use their gifts and talents to make the world a better place perfectly aligns with the Mission of Mount St. Dominic Academy and will resonate with our prospective and current families.

Having experienced the Mount first-hand as a parent of two alumnae, Alexandra George '05 and Domenica Giorgio '11, as well as through the eyes of prospective students, the insights Maria will bring to our Admissions and Enrollment Management team will provide us with a significant advantage.
