L.E.O. Program Students learn about Entrepreneurship

On Tuesday, November 21st, students who are participating in the 2-year signature L.E.O. Program at the Mount enjoyed a visit from Denisa Ademaj, who discussed her entrepreneurial journey. A graduate student earning her Master’s of Business Administration at Mercy University, who also works in the Admissions Department there, Denisa is the President of the Mercy CEO Club, which brings together students who are interested in being entrepreneurs or learning about the world of business and entrepreneurial endeavors. She spoke about being a powerful and successful woman in a male-dominated industry. She also explained the value of having an experienced mentor to run ideas by, and help you prepare for talks and interviews. In addition, Denisa emphasized the importance of networking, and using your LinkedIn profile to meet and message people you are interested in knowing.
