L.E.O. Program Pinning Ceremony Keynote Speaker Amanda Azzinnari '10

Amanda Azzinnari, MSDA Class of 2010 and head of brand partnerships and merchandising for Alula, spoke with the 20 Mount students and their families during our L.E.O. Program Pinning Ceremony.

She noted that only 8% of Fortune 500 companies are led by women, but 100% of the students in the third L.E.O. Program cohort at the Mount are girls. The group looks forward to closing that gender gap!

Stressing the importance of leading with empathy and kindness, and her advice that no idea is too silly or dream too big, Amanda's empowering message provided our creative and compassionate leaders of tomorrow with an inspirational jumpstart.

The event marks the induction of the third cohort of students. The Pinning Ceremony took place in the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center with Alex Cucciniello and Fran Vagias P '18 of The Leonidas Foundation in attendance. MSDA staff and faculty, along with students and families, joined together to congratulate the young women embarking on the two-year program focused on the core tenets of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Opportunity.
