CALDWELL - The students of Mount St. Dominic Academy, an independent Catholic college-preparatory school for girls, are bringing the 1937 Pulitzer-prize winning play, “You Can’t Take It with You,” to the stage this week.

Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.

The comedic play, written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, tells the story of good-natured stenographer Alice Sycamore, who falls in love with her powerful boss, Tony Kirby. When their drastically different families meet, lifestyles and classes collide.

“You Can’t Take It with You” kicks off the 10th Anniversary Season at the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center, 3 Ryerson Ave., Caldwell.
