Candy Canes on St. Nicholas Day
St. Nicholas visited the Mount! On his feast day December 7th, candy canes were found outside classroom doors in students’ shoes. This old Christian tradition of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of children, filling children’s shoes with special treats is a fun way to enjoy the season of Advent.
