Athletics Senior Spotlight - Aly Greenberg '20

Aly is a distance runner on the Varsity Track and Field team. A standout on the track and on the XC course, she will be attending Villanova University in the fall.

FAVORITE MEMORY - “My favorite memory was last year at sectionals when me and my teammates were waiting to run the 4x800m relay, it started pouring rain. It was only the start of the meet and we were in the very last event, we had no tent and decided to hide under the bleachers. Eventually, the bleachers were not able to protect us and we were getting soaking wet. We decided to run from the bleachers to my mom’s car with all of our bags. We sat in the car, soaking wet, for what seemed like a very long time. It sounds miserable, but my teammates and I were able to joke about it and still had a very positive mindset going into our race. Eventually the rain stopped and we ran a really good race and qualified for groups.“
