Assembly Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month
The Mount's Diversity Club worked exceptionally hard to create a meaningful and informative assembly celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month.
We are grateful for the moving and motivational keynote address by MSDA Alumna Hannah Umansky-Castro '12. Students, faculty, and staff were treated to our own "Dancing with the Stars - Mount style," with a lesson and subsequent contest in the Bachata - a traditional musical style and dance of the Dominican Republic. Thank you to our wonderful students and alumna for helping us with the commemorative celebration and for the enthusiasm and interest of the entire school community.
