A sisterhood that transcends brick and mortar, yet forms the foundation of a 130-year legacy, being an alumna of Mount St. Dominic Academy means you are part of a community of empowered women with shared experiences that bond you together for life.  Today’s students walk in your footsteps – inspired by your example while grounded in a rich history, complemented by continued innovation.

The worldwide community of Mount alumnae - a collection of empowered, enlightened and impassioned women spanning generations and geographies - is as diverse as it is formidable. Our graduates are leaders in business, law, healthcare, and academia. From tech pioneer to small business owner; scientist to cinematic storyteller; doctor to Dominican preacher; the women of the Mount are mothers, partners, caregivers, and members of their community who are grounded in the values of their Dominican education and prone to action with a desire to be of service to others.    

Wherever you are in the world, our alumnae have a home at the Mount, and we encourage you to stay in touch, and come back – for a reunion or school play, as a casual visitor or as a Capstone mentor. There are many opportunities to be involved and we look forward to exploring them together.

The Mount helped me reinforce my belief that women can do anything. This was crucial for me when learning and working in male-dominated fields like computer science and software engineering. My time at the Mount also helped shape my interest in encouraging other girls in STEM. I now volunteer regularly to give talks and mentor young girls who are interested in math and science.
