Athletics
Strive to achieve. Challenge to compete. Persevere to excel.
I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion.
- Mia Hamm
Active Minds and Bodies
Athletics are an important component in the total education offered at the Mount. Practicing physical health and wellness, facing challenges and performing as part of a team are experiences that serve our students long after they graduate.
"The Parent Seat" -
A Video by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS)
"The Parent Seat" video has been designed for coaches and athletic directors and explains the role of a parent during game day. It provides suggestions on how parents can cope with the roller coaster of emotions that they will feel. MSDA encourages our athletic supporters to view the video.
