Where am I Today?
As the Finance Officer and Director of Operations at Ultra International Music Publishing in New York and Ultra Publishing Europe, I am responsible for reviewing financials to determine potential areas for growth and focus on creating new partnerships. I manage the company’s non-working capital, and advise on investment strategies with the company President and Asset Banking Managers. I serve on the company’s Board of Directors to devise new strategies to increase company revenues, resolve management issues, and confront competitive challenges in the entertainment industry. Living, working and raising a family in New York City can be very intense. Therefore, it is important to keep a work/life balance. I try my best to be socially responsible as a benefactor of several charitable organizations, am a supporter of the arts and serve on two management boards.

The Mount Factor
The Mount helped me develop my self-confidence, a trait I’ve relied on throughout my life. Without this sense of self-confidence, I would have never achieved what I have in my diverse career. The Mount’s mission of empowering young women in the Catholic, Dominican tradition for me translates to living a life with social responsibility and purpose.

My Advice
There is no right or wrong path in life. Focus on creating it your own way. The more unconventional the better.
