Affording MSDA

The Mount is committed to enrolling students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Increased access to education reflects the Dominican mission and diversity strengthens the Mount community. We offer a comprehensive program of tuition assistance including financial aid and scholarship opportunities.



Apply for a Scholarship
To apply for any Mount scholarship, students must register for and take the MSDA Entrance  Exam. The MSDA Entrance  Exam is online and will open on November 6, 2020.

To be considered for a scholarship, a student have already completed your Mount admissions application, and have taken the MSDA Entrance Exam or SSAT Exam by December 7, 2020.



Financial Aid At a Glance

A limited amount of financial aid is available. Up to 50% of tuition per qualifying student may be awarded, strictly on the basis of need. The priority deadline is December 7, 2020. Applications will continue to be accepted through April 30, 2021 or until funds are exhausted. The link to Smart Aid will be available on October 1, 2020.

MSDA Scholarships at a Glance

We award the following scholarships to members of the incoming freshman class. To be eligible for any scholarships, prospective students must have completed an application for admission, and take the MSDA Entrance Exam or the SSAT exam.


Other Scholarship Sources

Applicants in need of financial aid are encouraged to look into other sources such as a local ethnic organization or their parish.
