Cash/Check

Outright gifts of cash are the fastest and most immediately beneficial way of giving to the Mount because they can be used to support a variety of needs right now. Cash contributions also entitle you to a tax deduction for the amount of the gift.  You may download our donation form and simply mail in a check, made payable to Mount St. Dominic Academy, or feel free to stop by in person and pay us a visit. Online Gifts

You can make a gift to the Mount through JustGive.org. JustGive is an organization committed to helping non profit organizations by offering them online donation tools. We are listed with them as Mount Saint Dominic Academy.  Simply click on the Just Give button below to make a fast, convenient and secure gift today.

Credit Card

The Mount accepts gifts made with VISA, MasterCard and American Express cards. If you would like to make your credit card donation over the phone, simply call the Development Office at 973.226.0660 ext. 1130 and we will be happy to help you. The Mount also accepts online donations through JustGive.org. Like gifts of outright cash, gifts paid on a credit card provide the Mount with funds to use immediately. Additionally, these gifts are tax deductible.

Securities

An outright gift of securities can provide the Mount with immediate financial assistance.  A gift of appreciated securities offers you the same income tax advantages as cash gifts, but since securities can be transferred to us directly, rather than sold, their value is increased because sales expenses are not incurred.  Transferred securities are also sheltered from capital gains liabilities.  You should contact your broker or financial advisor to make a transfer, or contact our Development Office at 973-226-0660 ext. 1130 and we will help you with the process.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will help support the Mount through a matching gift, which doubles, or sometimes even triples a contribution to our school.  Imagine your gift doubled simply because you filled out a brief form.  Before making a gift to the Mount, check with your employer’s (and your spouse’s employer’s)  human resources department to see if a gift matching program is offered and determine what restrictions apply.  Or if you prefer, contact our Development Office at 973-226-0660 ext. 1130 and we will assist you in determining if your company participates in a matching program.

Pledges

If you prefer to spread payments out over time, rather than make an outright cash gift, you can pledge a gift to the Mount on a payment schedule that is convenient to you.  A pledge may allow you to make a larger gift to the Mount than you might have otherwise, while extending tax advantages over a period of several years. Planned giving

We offer a variety of planned giving opportunities, including bequests, charitable gift annuities, life insurance, life-income trusts and real estate transfers.
