Taste of Broadway at MSDA

Event Information

When the houselights dim and the curtain rises on the 2019 theater season, the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center will officially begin its 10th Anniversary Season at Mount St. Dominic Academy.

Much more than a state-of-the-art theatre, the PAC in many ways serves as the heart of the Mount. It is a place where students perform to the delight of their peers, families and community members; where the Mount community joins together in prayer and worship; where distinguished guests and faculty members enlighten and inspire; and where many of our young women find their passion.

In honor of the 10th Anniversary Season of the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center this fall, the Mount is hosting Taste of Broadway on October 19. The evening festivities will include a wine tasting, culinary treats, a cork pull, and an incredible array of silent auction prizes. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by some of Broadway’s best. Show tickets start at just $75.

There are so many ways to support this event, from purchasing your ticket, to donating an auction item or bottle of wine for the cork pull, or placing an ad in the evening’s Playbill. Please view the links below for further details on how to support this wonderful celebration, and as always, don’t hesitate to contact the Development Office with any questions you may have at tasteofbroadway@msdacademy.org

Cork Pull

Take a chance for a great bottle of wine at Taste of Broadway! To help us create a successful cork pull in October, we need your help! Please consider donating one or more bottles of wine with a minimum value of $20 (no maximum). Don’t know what to pick?  Dianne Pitten, (dpitten947@aol.com) at Fairchilds Market has volunteered to help make your selections and store the wine until the event. If you’d prefer to choose your own wine, please contact us at monica.perkowski@gmail.com to arrange for pick up or delivery.  All donated bottles will be included in the cork pull during Taste of Broadway. This is an easy and fun way to support this signature event!

Silent Auction

During the reception, guests will have the opportunity to bid on items as part of the evening’s festivities. If you wish to donate an item to be included on the Silent Auction Table, we invite you to visit the myregistry site, where we have done the work for you and carefully selected items to both impress and WOW our guests! All you need to do is select and purchase, then the gifts will be delivered directly to MSDA’s door. It’s that easy! Or you may donate any other items of your choice, such as trips, golf, and sporting events. For more information, contact Mary Helen Camporeale at mhc@medrise.com.
