SAT Prep is part of the curriculum for all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
- Techniques for answering the SAT questions are covered, and the format and types of questions are discussed in detail.
- Practice scored SAT tests are periodically given in order to chart progress.
- PSAT testing is administered to all sophomores and juniors
Verbal
- A daily part of the literature curriculum is reading comprehension which is used to increase the student’s proficiency in reading.
- Topics include: vocabulary, mnemonics, life skills, cultural literacy and speed-reading.
Math
Students are required to answer many questions and solve many problems throughout each year.

TCA Prep Online Study Guide
- We have contracted with TCA Prep to provide our students with a simple-to-use, proven online study guide which will augment our SAT Prep program.
- An integral part of the SAT prep for juniors, the guide can be accessed by freshmen, sophomores and seniors as well.
- The five step program guides each student through the process of identifying and addressing weak skills via practice testing.
