of Distinction
for excellence in teaching and
for the encouragement of and
dedication to the academic
success of students at
Mount Saint Dominic Academy. |

Mount Saint
Dominic Academy was one of the 12 schools who met on the steps
of
Newark City Hall on May 1, 2007 for Project 1200 .
Project 1200 is sponsored by REBEL (Reaching Everyone By
Exposing Lies)
which is an anti smoking and tobacco organization.
Each school collected 100 pairs of shoes to represent the 1200
people who die each day from tobacco related diseases.
