Mount Saint Dominic Academy is in the process of preparing for re-accreditation by the Middles State Association. We are using a protocol known as Accreditation for Growth to prepare for our re-accreditation in the Spring of 2015. Accreditation for Growth (AFG) is an accreditation protocol that uses strategic planning as a vehicle for growth and improvement in student performance and in the school’s capacity to effect that growth.
The first stage in preparing for the Middle States Review was a year of self-study. During the school year, 2013 – 2014, the Mount evaluated how well we are fulfilling our mission as a Catholic Dominican Girls’ College Preparatory High School. Following the year of self-study, the Mount has formulated student performance objectives and action plans to continue to improve and grow as a community. We have asked all of the stakeholders: board members, parents, administration, faculty, staff and students to share their ideas on the ways that the Mount can continue to grow and improve.
