Middle States
Mount Saint Dominic Academy was fully re-accredited by Middle States Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools in the Spring of 2015 and remains until 2022. Accreditation for Growth (AFG) is an accreditation protocol that uses strategic planning as a vehicle for growth and improvement in student performance and in the school’s capacity to effect that growth.
The first stage in preparing for the Middle States Review was a year of self-study. During the school year, 2013 – 2014, the Mount evaluated how well our mission as a Catholic Dominican Girls’ College Preparatory High School was being fulfilled. Following the year of self-study, the Mount formulated student performance objectives and action plans to continue to improve and grow as a community. We asked all the stakeholders: board members, parents, administration, faculty, staff and students to share ideas on the ways that the Mount can continue to grow and improve.
