Mount Saint Dominic Academy is a member of the Newark Catholic Forensics League, currently ranked 10th in the nation in the Catholic Forensic League Circuit.

Over 25 participating schools compete in monthly tournaments. Winners receive trophies and point awards. The highest winners in the categories of Drama, Oral Interp, Duo Interp, Debate, Student Congress,  Declamation, Original Oratory and Extemporaneous Speaking can qualify for the National Tournament held in May of each school year. The current roster of MSDA forensics competitors includes nearly forty Mount students.

In 2006, four Mount Students qualified for the national competition in Chicago. Chrisabelle Cempron '09 came in 8th place overall in the nation.
