Financial Aid Scholarships
Financial Aid
- Some financial aid ( up to $5000 per student) is available.
- Distribution is based on financial need.
- Financial Aid must be applied for each school year.
1. Process for incoming students:
In order to apply for financial aid, you need to send the school:
- A completed Admissions Application (click here to download)
- Accompanied by a completed Financial Aid Form (click here to download)
- A copy of your most recent tax return
- A personal statement from the applicant’s parents/guardians explaining why the financial aid is needed
Key Dates for:
Application--December 15:
- Download the financial aid forms and return them completed with all the above required documentation postmarked by December 15. This is a strict deadline. No exceptions are made for alternate test dates or time extensions!
- PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN ACCCEPTANCE LETTER BEFORE CONSIDERING FINANCIAL AID. ALL MONIES WILL HAVE BEEN DISPERSED BY THAT TIME!
Notification--by February registration:
- Parents will be notified of the Financial Aid Committee’s decision prior to the February 6, 2010 registration date

Scholarships
Siena Scholarships
Mount St Dominic Academy's Siena Scholarship Program awards the following scholarships to members of the incoming Freshman class:
- One full-tuition scholarship that is renewable every year provided the student maintains high academic performance.
- Two half-tuition scholarships that are renewable every year provided the student maintains high academic performance.
- These scholarships are based on academic excellence and personal interview with the Scholarship Committee, not financial need.
Anyone who has applied to MSDA is eligible to take the Siena Scholarship Exam this Sunday, December 6. Here is what you need to do:
Doris M. Byrne Endowed Scholarship:
The Doris M. Byrne Endowed Scholarship was established to honor one of the Mount’s most dedicated alumnae. The scholarship, which provides four years of full tuition to the Mount, is awarded every four years to an incoming freshman who demonstrates both academic ability and financial need.
- The scholarship will next be awarded to an incoming freshman of the class of 2017.
