Campus Ministry Team
Spiritual ministry is an important part of day-to-day life at the Mount and we count on members of the Campus Ministry Team help to facilitate ministry at the school.
- Ministry team members coordinate and lead worship and other spiritually-oriented activities.
- Typical activities include planning retreats and liturgies, conducting prayer services and participating in service projects.

The Mount’s liturgical ministries allow students play an essential role in all of our liturgical celebrations. With a variety of ministries available, a student can readily find a means for sharing her faith by assisting in our community in worship. Ministry positions include:

Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers serve by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ to the Community during Mass.

Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Word of the Lord during Mass and other worship celebrations. In the course of their reading, lectors are called upon to understand and interpret Scripture for the community. Those seeking to serve as lectors should be comfortable with public speaking.

Lord’s Chords Musicians
This musical group is open to all students interested in becoming more involved in the musical aspects of worship at the Mount. The Lord’s Chords, which welcomes both vocalists and instrumentalists, provides music and leads our community in song during liturgies and prayer services. Members are also responsible for selecting appropriate music based upon the scriptures of the day.

Liturgical Dancers
Liturgical dancers are members of the MSDA dance team who also share their talents with the community during liturgies to enhance the celebration of worship. Dancers assist in choreographing appropriate dance based upon the theme of the liturgy and the chosen music.
