All State Opera 2014
Anna Piparo ’15 placed 8th in the state and performed “In Uomini, In Soldati” from Cosi Fan Tutti by Mozart.
Giovanna Bruno ’16 qualified to participate in the All State Opera Chorus.

NJMEA – Region 1 Choir 2014
Anna Piparo ’15 placed 25th overall and 14th in the mixed North Jersey Region 1 Choir.

NJMEA – All State Choirs 2014
Anna Piparo ’15 placed 22nd in the state, which accepted her into the mixed choir. Since she placed in the top 30 she is eligible to apply for All Eastern and All National Choirs.

The Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards were created in 1996 to encourage and reward exceptional accomplishments in the production of high school musical theatre. The Rising Star Awards is a statewide competition of New Jersey high school musicals modeled after Broadway’s Tony Awards. Mount St. Dominic received the following:

The King and I – 2014
Anna Piparo ’15 is among the final nominations for her role as “Lady Thiang” in the production of The King and I.
Olivia Femia ’14 earned honorable mentions in the Outstanding Hair & Make-up Achievement category.
