The goals of the Arts Council are:
- To research seek, and utilize widespread resources to enhance the current arts program offered at the Mount
- To help produce programs, within the constraints of the school's size, budget and scope, that are regarded as superior in quality
- To support fundraising opportunities for the various arts programs
- To raise awareness of the funding needs for the performing arts center
- To promote the renovation of the Performing Arts Center as an outstanding opportunity for the students of the Mount and the surrounding communities
- To find ways to create excitement surrounding the arts for the Mount through press releases, branding, parent participation, community involvement and other means
