Mount Monday Alumnae Profiles

Marie M. Jackson ’01, D.M.D., F.A.G.D.

Dr. Marie M. Jackson, member of the Mount St. Dominic Academy class of 2001, is a general dentist and owner of Stellar Smile Center, located in Montclair, NJ. She notes that some of her favorite MSDA memories include traveling to France with the school, her senior Disney trip and the Mount’s field day events. After graduation, Marie went on to the New Jersey Institute of Technology where she earned her BS in Engineering Science in 2004, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry – New Jersey in 2008. Veronica Padula ’02

Veronica is the STEM Program Manager for the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island in Alaska. She shares that she doesn’t think she would have the confidence she possesses today if it had not been for the Mount, where teachers expected the best from her, and helped her build the confidence to achieve anything she puts her mind to. Ashlynn Fields ’12

Ashlynn is studying for her masters at USC and is working as a Graduate Assistant in the school’s Student-Athlete Academic Services department. She was recently honored with her selection to participate in the Emerging Leaders Seminar (ELS) at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) headquarters. She noted that attending ELS was an experience of a lifetime that opened her eyes to various career opportunities within collegiate athletics.
