Presentation & Supper for the Women of MSDA – Mothers of Mount Alumnae Event 9/21/17
As part of the ongoing commemoration of our 125th anniversary, Mount Saint Dominic Academy will host a light supper and talk for women of the Mount community this Thursday, September 21. Our special guest, writer, educator and historian Claire Guadagno, will present “Sisters and Daughters – The Women of MSDA” and lead us in an exploration of the “First Ladies of 1890s.” The presentation will look at the school’s founding sisters, those who continued the mission, and the young women who continue the legacy of the school today.
Open to all women of our community with a special focus on the moms of Mount alumnae, this intimate evening in the Bishops’ Dining Room is an opportunity to gather together to share the bonds of Mount sisterhood while learning about our history in the context of this important milestone anniversary.
Anyone planning to attend must RSVP today September 18 to reserve a seat for this special gathering.
