A beautiful educational setting that is both historic and state-of-the-art.
The four buildings used by the Mount are located on a serene and wooded 21 acre hilltop campus in suburban Caldwell, N.J. which we share with the Sisters of St. Dominic and Caldwell University.
Rosary and Aquinas Hall, our stately Gothic Revival main building erected in 1931, is our main academic and administrative facility. It has been enjoyed by generations of graduates, giving our students a tangible connection to a legacy of tradition.
In 2008 we opened our 19,000 square foot Athletic Center with seating for 500, a fitness center, trainers’ area, and conference room.
Language classes are held in Angelica Hall.
The Library Media Center was enlarged in 1999 with access to numerous electronic research databases. It was also renovated in 2014 to reflect the use of technology in classes.
There are two computer labs and computer workstations in every classroom.
The fine arts department has been renovated to include a larger collaborative workspace.
Our newest building is the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center, adjacent to Rosary Hall. Named for an alumna of the Mount, this 400+ seat theater occupies what used to be our gymnasium/auditorium, which was constructed in the late 1920’s. This new facility offers a Broadway quality experience for performers and patrons while maintaining the elegance of the time when it was originally built.
